Why did you stop using organza bags?

The reason why we do not send the yarn cakes in organza bags anymore is simply because they are made of synthetic fibres such as nylon or polyester which are not environmentally friendly. The tissue paper we now use is and can be recycled!

Why does the L.E.T.J.O.G. yarn cake take so long to make?

The L.E.T.J.O.G. yarn cakes are made with every colour of our Cotton/Acrylic yarn we have to offer. Over 200 knots are needed to create this cake and that takes a lot of time to do.

Why is the postage over 2kg more expensive?

Orders over 2kg most likely need to be placed in a larger box, and a larger box is more expensive. Also the prices differ depending on where you live. We look for the most economical service available to make sure you receive your parcel quickly and at a reasonable price. Please note, we always refund the purchaser any overpaid postage costs.

Why do you use loose fill? Is it recyclable?

We use loose fill because the yarn cakes are little treasures and need to be kept safe in transit. The loose fill is biodegradable, it can be either put in the compost or dissolved in water.

The yarn cake I received is not the same colour as on my phone/tablet/monitor.

We take great care in our photo’s to get the most accurate colour possible. The photo’s of the yarn cakes are very accurate indeed, however the colour settings and brightness settings on your device may alter the colour you are viewing.

My parcel has not arrived.
